I am here to support you through the loneliness, frustration, anxiety, depression, and major life changes that come with time; and to work on the rifts that damage your most important, life-long relationships.
DO ANY OF THESE THINGS APPLY TO YOU?:

I am being spread too thin
I wish my family would understand me better
I wish my family would spend more time with me
I feel stressed, sad, frustrated, lonely, tired, guilty
I have a hard time sleeping, relaxing, and finding time for me
No matter what I do, I feel guilty that I'm not doing something else
I am feeling too overwhelmed to be able to care for myself the way that I know I need to
I am feeling too overwhelmed to be able to care for my loved ones the way that I want to

As a therapist, I have been honored to hear the personal stories of people of all ages. I have come to know their primary concerns, their biggest problems, the causes for their anxieties and sadness, and their wishes for the future. I have come to learn that we all need both independence and support; knowledge and instinct; challenges and successes. My job allows me the opportunity to be each patient’s confidant, teacher, and cheerleader. I get to watch as they learn how to handle old and new situations and think about things in a more positive, helpful light.
It is always my goal to teach the need we all have to accept and take on challenges in order to better ourselves. It is my strength to help break those challenges down into their smaller, simpler, and more manageable parts, and my unique honor to be there as it all unfolds.
As an author, I created the Tiny Professors (TM) line of therapy books for children and families because I could see how difficult challenges could often be broken down into smaller, more manageable parts, and because I realized that there is no better way to see that than through the eyes of a child. Although these books are fun, beautifully illustrated, and appropriate for children
THERE ARE PAGES AND PAGES OF VERY HELPFUL ADVICE FOR ADULT CAREGIVERS THAT COULD TAKE YEARS TO FIGURE OUT ON YOUR OWN.
We hope that you will read this to your children over and over again. And when you do, we hope you understand and remember the concepts, and use them to help you find ease, confidence and maybe even a little fun in the things you do to help your loved one.
